There were no lie ins available as a consequence! I would stay at the Deutsches apartments again, but I would stay on the second floor, not the first."

From the attic at the 5th floor (with a lift, quite a plus in Krakow) you have an imposing view of the old town and of the every day's life of locals. The double windows block most of the noise from the tramways and the street, so calm is not an issue. The apartment is very clean. The bathroom is nice with a washing machine, which really helps if you stay more than a couple of nights. Satellite TV (it worked but I didn't managed to get the sound out of it), and DVD on a big screened TV are a plus. The free wireless internet connection was fast and I had a steady medium signal strength. The kitchen has all it takes, a bit more tools wold help, but I am sure if you need something they will provide it as they have a reception in the building. The reception saved me when I came back in the night and the downstairs key didn't work. I rang and a nice person (I mean he was not angry) came to open. It feeels safer to know they are there. All this comes for a fair price, so this is the place to go if you expect a standard which is not the highest (but good) and are budget minded."

Darek, the owner, loves Italy and the studio is a proof of it. Yoy may well be in a stylish Milan apartment. It's a short walk from the Old Town, in front of the Ibis and Novotel. The street is virtually traffic free and the apartment is very calm. Fast wireless internet, Lcd wall tv with DVD and satellite. "Wood everywhere in this great blend of modern facilities and antique wooden furniture apartment. You feel far from the noise of the city and it's easy to pretend being from the 19th century nobility in here. The views include the top of the Wavel castle and some churches in the old town. The bathroom floors are heated, great thing in the winter. All you need is there, from the toaster to the washing machine to the hairdryer, so you won't have that "almost perfect" feeling. It is just perfect. I invited some friends over dinner and now they love me more than before. By the way, the kitchen was great to cook, there is even a child proof lock so children can't turn on the cooker. The 4/5 in location is due to the fact that there is no lift to reach the 3rd floor, not a problem for most but a minus for elder people. Also, it is right in the middle between old town and Kazimierz, which I found great, especially considering that Kazimierz is getting better everyday, but some may prefer to be here or there. It takes 2 minutes by foot to reach the middle of Kazimierz and about 5 to the old town. In the building there are 16 more similar apartments so it is great for groups. Downstairs there is a beautiful restaurant, the San Sebastian Café and also a night club, the Dolce Vita. What else to say? Totally Enjoyable."

"Great Kazimierz location. The apartment is in a perfectly restored building with reception. All is brand new and clean. The street has virtually no traffic so the apartment is very calm and charming. The bathroom is nice and you can shave yourself thanks to the strong lights. If you are a woman and do not need to shave, you'll be happy to hear that there are two big mirrors in which to admire yourself before going out to be admired. Wooden floors and furniture. A good pizza place is downstairs and all the great Kazimierz pubs at easy walking distance and there won't be any problem making it back home regardless of the state you are in. The girls at the office, Karolina and Karolina, are very nice and helpful. A nice, warm and welcoming experience."
